I'm only gonna tune once. Are you not gonna wait to get everything and then tune?

I think a tune will get me the most power cheapest for now. The other parts are another grand and I'm putting wheels up higher on the priority list so it may be a few months for that. Don't want to wait that long! Feel like I'm running lean and just impatient to get it proper.

Ah I see. That sounds like the best route then. I've been running lean for a while now lol just haven't been going WOT to be safe. Get decent mileage though

300 for the reflash, 500 for the dyno tune. might be a lil less on the dyno tune depending time wise. but do expect 700-800 for pricing.

If its gonna be 800 at AWD I'll just drive to austin to do it there. Cheaper and I get to drive my car more

Doesn't seem to really be necessary in my mind to have a bunch of diff maps.

Don't know the full extent of your set up, but I assume NA from your signature. The multiple maps do come in handy, in your case you could set up a valet map to where they wouldnt be able to take your car above 3k rpms.

For those with boost, the multiple maps is a great idea, not only for the valet mode to where the valet can't blow your engine in the parking lot seeing what your force-fed G can do... but also, if you have a boost controler you can set different maps for different levels of boost. In my case I have one on the wastegate spring at roughly 4.5 psi for daily driving and a high octane tune at 10 psi. The valet mode still remains my biggest draw though since I've still got a stock block and blowing my engine is always in the back of my mind. In your case, if you were worried about a specific driver of your car joyriding, you can give them the governed map and poof, peace of mind.

Cool... I was wondering how usable the Osiris standard would be down the road with a built engine or boost. My upgrade path is built before boost but I want something that will go the distance but not be total overkill for now like utec or haltech. Seems like it's the best option for now.

Thanks for the info!

Either that or pick up a gt-r in a few years lol. Any which way the G will be my track car for a good while I think.

yea Osiris would be a good option for that, definately get what you pay for. On the other side, I have a utec you can buy for really cheep off me if you were wanting to go that route. I've got a good balance in my car right now and am not going to be using it. Johnny Tran down in houston tuned it very well for me though you'd have to get it re-tuned, and he figured out a way to tuck it up under the glove box so it was hidden. I tried and tried to do that and never could.
