I could seriously rock a projector to display an image on the moon with that damn thing... what did you do? just go to newegg and find their most expensive non professional video card? some of the ones they have listed in the professional category are like $3k! just insane
I stand corrected.... $4k!

I love this though... "Free workstation with purchase"... buy a video card, get a whole computer! haha

yeah, its nice, you can connect 5 displays to it and play across them all. eyefinity is greatness.
but seriously I'd be wary about buying from XFX, I've heard some horror stories about those cards dying and the manuf. denying warranties for stupid reasons. I'd go with powercolor, diamond, msi, or asus. the later being my favorite.

yea, Asus is my usual choice. I've never been a huge fan of Diamond from the old days and MSI is just a no in my book. My original plan was powercooler, but I've never heard of them and just wasn't sure. I'm trying XFX and we'll see what happens. The reviews on that card specifically seemed ok. They all have horror stories unfortunately (spent a TON of time researching)

have to disagree with you there, xfx and evga are the best of the best imo. One of the few products you can by with lifetime warranties and are mod/overclock friendlyOriginally Posted by sexyrob

yeah ok fanboi. have fun spending twice as much for something that doesn't do anything better. XFX was good until they started trying ATI cards, evga doesn't make any so that doesnt apply.
lol... ok, before it goes off again, no ATI vs Nsh1tia discussion required... everyone has their preference... I've been a very long time very happy ATI customer and not a soul in here will change that opinion

My only critique would be a faster hard drive. Or better yet two of those in a RAID0.
If I were to build a system right now I would do two 80GB ssd's in a raid0 for the OS and then a bigger drive for data.

and btw... before their technology was sold off to a government entity or something like that... NOTHING was better than VooDoo... (sigh) those were the days
