I'd say so considering that's an amazing weld job. Welding isn't exactly easy and I know I've messed up a bunch of welds when I lived on my parents farm and in Ag in my high school lol
Hopefully if your payin someone to do this they have the machine to spin the wheel and weld at the same time. Its all automated
I would be very sketch about rolling with wheels like that. Something about added width on a wheel NOT done by the original manufacturer just seems risky to me. Plus, like the others said...who is THAT obsessed with the OEM 19's that they would do this?
That's true. Machine precision>human error
well I like the idea of getting more traction, but there is no point in doing that. The wheels are forged for a reason, when you cut them and weld in some other random aluminum you are weakening the entire structure. not to mention have fun balancing that thing...
