Oh and its also the reason that even HKS's top of the line light weight titanium racing exhaust is a y-pipe to single exhaust......just sayin.

What I find humorous its the fact that there isn't a single shred of proof that one of these dual exhaust's makes any more power than a well designed y-pipe to single exhausts. The only major deference is the sound and the weight. Hks churns these exhausts out at a pretty good rate. And yes your paying for the name. I think it truly is just a quality control issue....besides if you bought it new you paid too damn much
There is a dyno somewhere comparing a dual exhaust to a Nismo which is essentially a single with just a dual out muffler.
I have the ARK Grip V2 exhaust.. It is a true dual cat back with the X pipe... I def noticed gains when I got it and it sounds amazing.. infact the sound got better over time.
I think I am one of few with it. I can't wait to get a Berk HFC put on it because it makes the already great sounding exhaust that much better!
