I cannot believe this is actually happening in the world right now as we all exist together in it, and there is nothing we can do about it! There have been a few jokes about this, but I never thought it would actually happen.

OP, kudos for throwing "eff it" to the wind, and doing this crazy ish.

Sub'd. I've got to see this.

Just about everything will hurt or stain the paint. I would of done something else first and let it sit a few days before actually doin the car. Atleast you sealed the paint but hope it comes out ok. I stil wouldnt spray the front of a car for long trips . too much overspray from an aerosol can so you would have to claybar it to completely clean it off. Ima say negative tim

hey quick question .. did you do everything by spray paint? the reason I am asking is that there is a guy on g35nyc.com that did this about 3 months ago on a 2nd gen , but he used the flat white plasti dip and he had it sprayed by a shop with an actual gun not spray cans . I know his car came out like ***, it was really rough and when he tried removing it it was not coming off that easy.
Than he decided to use a power washing machine and it pealed of with his paint. I will try to find a link to it

If you read the whole thread it was because he used a 2500 psi pressure washer about 6 inches from the car. Of course its going to strip paint.

It wasnt the plasti dip that caused the paint to peel it was the dumb owner. He also said he had the roof and hood done for over 7 months with no ill effects.

Edit: was reading the thread and then posted lol.

Warzywko it was spray cans

R1forever thanks for the input but it shouldn't eat through the paint as long as it was not in the sun when painted I think.

I have done it for the roof top and it held up since the beginning of January through the snow, got a little faded though so I peeled it off and nothing
And something about the bumpers and sideskirts are telling me it's going to leave watermarks. But don't know yet and will try since I'm getting a new bumper. Right Stephen, I will be placing an order on the poly
