G35man04 Different Exhaust Combinations with Sound clips

well I decided since alot of members go through what exhaust they like ....what they look like..price range...drone...etc. it brough me to this thread and just create one for the local member if anyone else has vids they want to post you can chime in..post it up etc and I will add it to the first post.

Im not putting them in any order by the way...just posting what I had before.


1. 350z Nismo Muffler with 5" Tips, HR y-pipe, stock coupe mid-pipe, Kinetix 300 Cell HFC's.

Price: $200-300 For Muffler, $75-100 for HR Y-Pipe
Drone: No

2. Fastintentions Carbon Fiber Catback

it should be noted on the video with mine that it has strup headers and AAM HFC... *edit* and nismo r-tune cams!

I had NO drone/rasp before headers/cats

it was still ok after cats
It got a little raspy after headers

most rasp went away wen I did port/polish plenum and spacer
all rasp was gone when cams went in.

11. Custom Exhaust
Member: ATOWERG35

Components:
(5) 45 degree l bends, (2) 30 degree bends, (1) u bend, (2) 4 foot straight sections, (1) x pipe, (2) 4" tips and (2) MagnaFlow Mufflers (3" outlet/inlet, 5" body, 14" case length, 20" overall length). All piping and bends were aluminized and mandrel bent, 2.5", minus the x pipe and bends from the mufflers to tips.

Thanks again chris. I'm going to look into the nismo muffler and HR Y. What do you know about B&B exhaust?There is a local member on my350z selling one.

I only know B&B exhaust from Domestics when I had my firebird.....unsure about it. Go check on youtube and see what you find. I know with buying a 350z exhaust you will have to pick up g35 exhaust extentions.

Crazy how many exhaust you have had chris. But now that i know you it doesnt surprise me. Lol Im still on my first exhaust considering theres not much for the sedan. I am thinking about selling my stillen and having something custom made up and do a lil fiberglass work to my bumper

the sad thing is that I am still missing my X02 from up there.....

Didnt you have a hks too or is that what your reffering to on the copy x02?

n/m i see the hks post now. lol

the Mic was 5 feet away from the car, probably should have been a bit further, esp after cams.

The motordyne vq sounds the same as the v1 just not as loud!

i wonder how port/polish my lower plenum will help the loudness of my exhaust.

agreed and had no drown..to me just didnt look beastly from behind.
