1st Thread! Custom Exhaust Build!

(See pics further down)

Hey Guys! So this is my first thread, I figured I would wait until I had something worthwhile. So hopefully you all enjoy this one!

After doing research for months and trying to decide what exhaust route to go, I finally settled on building my own. To me, this route would allow more flexibility, not only with looks and sound but with cost as well. I ordered the parts from summit racing, the build included:
(5) 45 degree l bends, (2) 30 degree bends, (1) u bend, (2) 4 foot straight sections, (1) x pipe, (2) 4" tips and (2) MagnaFlow Mufflers (3" outlet/inlet, 5" body, 14" case length, 20" overall length). All piping and bends were aluminized and mandrel bent, 2.5", minus the x pipe and bends from the mufflers to tips. I know I may take some heat for not using stainless, but considering road conditions in texas and other factors I went with aluminized. OEM cats were kept!

Let the pictures begin!

All oem piping off!

The Beginnings...

Look at sway navigation and factory hanger set up

Almos there!

Just gotta finish last welds!

Done, Panorama'd!

We took a torch to the tips before we welded on and then hit them with water to cool them, turned out pretty nice, still have to go back and metal polish to bring it out more!

Final Shots

Will get video links or post them up soon!

Sounds really nice. How's the drone? I have a custom exhaust that's kinda similar, except I have a resonated X-pipe in the front and no mufflers in the back. There's some drone at around 2300k rpm's. I've been thinking about adding Magnapacks or helmholtz resonators in the rear soon.

In for more vids.

Thanks g35man and Ryan! G35man, I think next item on mod list is wheels, so your Crawford HFCs might be sitting around for awhile . And Ryan, there is a little bit of drone around 2k rpm's, but only noticeable if cruising and you apply a little bit of gas (I.e. going up a hill or something) if that makes sense? I'll try and get some in car vids and launch/fly bys within the next few days. Currently it's pouring where I live and my body decided to get a sinus infection so I'm nursing that at the moment haha.

Your custom exhaust makes the car sound like a beast. Make a few out of stainless steel and sell them
