I'd like to run a car fax on my 300ZX. Has anyone run one on a car? I'd be interested to see what kind of service has been done on the car if the car fax has those records.

A carfax is only good if they (the shop) actually reports anything. I used to do them at my dealership all the time.

 

Service records will only show if it has been serviced at a dealership.

 

Whats the chances of that happening you think? I really want to know if someone has changed the timing belt. Or since only the service records from the dealer are available should I juts goto the dealer and see if it's been done?
