BMW CLASSIC Cars & Coffee Meet. DFW, TX
Thanks to G35Man04 for checking out my vehicle and everyone who showed up. The meet was a blast and tons of vehicles to check out from VW bugs to Ferrari and everything in between. All was fun until I was exiting the meet and decided to disable VDC and due to low tire tread 3/32 and my lead foot...Plano Police decided to take advantage of the G35 6mt Sedan and give me "Unsafe start" citation
...(Maybe partially it was my fault but COME ON A SEDAN at a classic meet with bunch of exotics). I took one for the team today and would have rather put that $$$ towards tires that I needed to replace.

They do that because of what happened at VARIOUS Houston Cars and Coffee meets.. Someone last month spun out in a GTO, flew all the way across the street and wrapped themselves around a tree...
They take that very seriously.. Also makes it a pain to get future locations for meets when folks try to show out.. People don't want that kind of element around their businesses..

^^ Hah, I was there at that location when that happened. When I was leaving I saw his car still sitting there. I went to Cars and Coffee today, at the same venue thankfully, and someone was kind enough to mark the spot with a little red cross.
Anyways, Tony is right. It is people like this that ruin the venues for Houston Cars and Coffee. This is the third venue that they have used in the past 6 months.
Thankfully, there were no incidents today and hopefully this new venue that Houston Cars and Coffee at will finally be its permanent home. It also helps since it's about 10 minutes from my house.
