I;ve had the blox spacer for about a year and a half and no melting issues and it serves its purpose. I think I got it from marinelli motorsports for 90 shipped lol

those dyno numbers scared me away from the blox i forget the thread but i did a **** ton of research and the gains were better all around with motordyne

Whenever I installed mine it just made my car breathe better with a better throttle response and I could clutch out < 1000 rpm without the car bogging down like it was gonna stall.

Performance wise regarding hp, definitely Motordyne

Rob can you ask his price for FI tune?

i'd be interested in seeing those numbers... there's really no reason one spacer would make ANY difference in power over the other...

well I have dynos that say other wise. there were upwards of 10 people who saw mine at the time it happened. not saying the other guy is lying but something had to have changed for him to lose that power.

There is NO way that a piece of material that separates the materials will give you more HP over another similar piece if the depth of it is the same. all it does is create more volume. IT is possible to be too big or too small but 5/16 to 5/8, I don't care if its made out of wood, as long as it doesn't leak it's going to make the same power.

Right, I know this fact because there was a local Z guy that had all the different styles bench flow tested and they all returned the same results. So, that's more than a dyno can tell you.

Material can definitely make a difference, but I'm talking about an extreme material difference (i.e. chromed metal). There was a shop I was visiting talking about a customer who was having major air/fuel problems with his car. The vehicle was carbureted and had a chromed spacer... it was literally boiling the gas it was getting so hot. But what idiot chromes a plenum spacer

oh weird... yeah didn't think about possible chemical reactions.. but in our plenums there shouldn't be much gas at all.

true, but the heat effect chrome can create is still a problem no matter what's involved

Based on this, I could be down for throwing in the first $300 soon to get the licensing purchased and then I can do the tune later and buy the cable after that...
