DFW G Club Tuning Interest Thread
Roy, I'm not putting your name on the list until you bring me a deposit lol...
By the way, you guys can either bring/send me your deposits or bring them directly to Steve. Either way, we need 7 deposits before Steve can order the software.
and to avoid any confusion, this deposit also covers your tuning license. So you pay the $300 ahead of time and then when it comes tuning day, you will only have to pay for the tune ($300.)

put me on the list.. I'm guessing if we don't get 7 deposits we'll get the full amount back correct? And when is the deposit due (when will you stop taking deposits to determine the 7 have been collected?)
Rob's a great salesman, answered all my questions and appealed to my logic.. I'm also very appreciative that he's not only procured himself a great relationship, but gotten his whole "family" a great deal as well.. That will always be appreciated and supported by me as long as my wallet allows.
I've got all those air mods, might as well get the power I've already paid for..
This sounds like the best way to overall maximize the quality, fun and efficiency of my car all at once.. The way we spend money on mods, I'd be stupid to not fully get what I've paid for.. And that's basically what we've ALL done until we properly tune our cars to utilize that power that these parts can produce. Unless properly tuned, we're just getting bolt on parts to say we have them on our cars..
I'm pretty dang interested in the increased gas mileage if nothing else and the low end torque I'd gain.. Being that I don't really drive highways because I don't have to, most of my driving is from 0-50mph.. That's some real fun to me to gun it from a dead stop.. If I could actually get MORE power in that range, it'd be totally worth it to me. The different maps are also appealing, so whenever we decide on the generic maps we're getting I'm definitely interested in being in on that convo as well..
Once again, thanks for this Rob.. MUCH appreciated homie..
So I guess I'll be number 10 on the list needing a license, and let me know when you start taking deposits..

haha thanks Tony, you know I appreciate it and I look out for you guys when I can.
and to answer your question, if we don't get the 7 we need, of course you will receive your refund in full. I am not charging for my time. It would suck if we couldn't get 7 but I don't think it will be a problem.
love to see you guys stepping up and getting your tune on!
oh and I just thought of this. for the computer savvy guys out there, here is an analogy.
getting bolt ons for your car is like buying new hardware for your PC. its nice and you feel good for having it but even after you install it physically, you need drivers to make it work properly. And even if you have drivers already, they are generic and you need to get the most up to date ones to get the most performance from your equipment.
</end nerd talk>

Just talked to Steve again, this is going to turn into a weekend thing so he can dedicate enough time to each of our cars. He said (as an estimate) 2 hours per car. so we will have to do Sat/Sun when that time comes.
