Texas front license plate

There is a ton more to my story. This wasn't a simple "I pulled you over for no front plate". He was very angry my record was 100% clean - no tickets, no wrecks, never been to jail or been suspected of anything... not even an expired registration or expired license. The front plate is the only thing I have ever been consistent about breaking.
Another clerk (not the one above) also asked me if I drove a car that went, "Brrrrrrrrrrrmmmmmmmmmmm"... I said, "No, but I guess it could look like one of those", kind of caught off guard. And she said that that was strange because that's normally all that officer pulls over - and they laughed. So I was profiled also... and they admitted it.
This cop was about to throw me in jail over no front plate because he thought there must be something on me. An illegal from Canada or on a drug run... it was insane. Literally. So I have no doubt this is kept around as an excuse to be able to pull people over.

^WOW.. That's all I can say about that.. as much as I give the Wylie and Murphy cops crap, they have even seen me at night w/ my LEDs on (not under car, and not pink) driving towards them, and not so much as made eye contact w/ me.. I've also had plenty of cops behind me, and a few of them even gave me thumbs up, or were checking out the car at a red light..
Man I'm sorry this is happening to you. I've heard the no bracket/exempt thing too.. Makes me nervous cuz I have NO intention of putting a front license plate on my car, ESPECIALLY since I don't have to drive it much. I just drive it to the gym and back on a daily basis now, and to meets and shows..
I really hope I don't get pulled over for this crap.
