Went to the track tonight and ran a new personal best of , 11.30 at 124.6 mph with a 1.60 60 ft The hole shot was sick and the car felt reeeeeally strong, so strong I was pinned in the seat..I short shifted and soft shifted, all of the gears going down the track, no powershifting as I was feeling out the new tranny..However my datalogs showed only 13.7 psi of peak boost:icon8: The second run I decided to launch it like I stole it and after powershifting in to 2nd gear, I felt the motor rev and the car not move...Yup, toasted the clutch I just put in 1 week ago.. This explains why I was not making full boost on the first run, which I am confident would have shaved off a few more tenths had the clutch not been slipping...It seems just as one issue is resolved, a new one pops up..
Keep in mind this is a full street car with MT drag radials and 19" 255/35 tires up front with a 90% interior weighing in at 3560 with me in it and 1/2 tank of 112 octane..
This car flat out sucks...
