Track Results

Spent my Saturday at the track and had fun. Thought I would share my results. This was my first time ever at the track and I'm def doing it again.

1st run with VDC on and auto:

R/T: .609
60': 2.375
330: 6.419
1/8: 9.727
MPH: 74.20
1000: 12.580
1/4: 14.983
MPH: 93.47

2nd run with VDC off and autostick:

R/T: .653
60': 2.346
330: 6.430
1/8: 9.755
MPH: 73.83
1000: 12.616
1/4: 15.019
MPH: 93.41

3rd run with VDS off and auto:

R/T: .013
60': 2.845
330: 6.973
1/8: 10.311
MPH: 73.53
1000: 13.184
1/4: 15.597
MPH: 93.16

During the second and third run the car felt "slower" than in the first run. I think it might have to do with the tranny getting hot. My reaction times were pretty slow except the last one and I really don't know how that happened.

So are the 19s. I'm sure heat was a factor too.

Yeah, 2.3 isn't that bad of a 60' for a stock G, but your ETs seem way high. I think the engine was starting to get heat soaked or the transmission was way hot. On your 2nd run your 60' was better, but you were already down from your 1st run...did you hit the rev limiter at all?

I think your 19's are slowing you way down! With your mods you should be running atleast 14.2 - 14.3

I guess the rims are a big factor, but so was the heat. The tranny was shifting very late, at about 6500 RPM. I'm gonna try to run again sometime when the weather gets cooler and maybe with some stock rims.
