Ran the coupe this Sunday at Montgomery Motorsports Park.

I have to say that the track is much better than Steele, but I was still having issues launching my street tires. I came out of the box way too hot and burned 'em probably all the way through the 330.

Best time of the day was: 14.10 @ 101.44.
60' was 2.350 I think... but mostly running mid 2.4's

I trapped 100-101 almost all afternoon, but just never could get the tires to stick worth a damn. My right foot is a little too heavy.

There's a 13 second run in this car, somewhere. It's the driver that needs some work. LOL

Car: '04.5 Coupe, 6mt, stock mich's still running 35psi
Mods: ztube, K&N, Helix V2 test pipes

 

wow nice, 14.1 with 2.3 6ft? U must be making some real nice power.
How were the track conditions?

 

Sunny, but chilly and windy. LOL Well, chilly for us anyway. Probably upper 40's, maybe low 50's?

The car is ok I guess. Wish I could touch the 13's just to make myself feel better. LOL

Can't be sure what his best run was... you'd have to ask him. I know I saw 13.40's a couple times... so, maybe a 13.30 something? I don't think he got down into his 13.20's yesterday.

Traction wasn't really there for us yesterday.

 

60' was 2.350 I think... but mostly running mid 2.4's....damn your car does 0-60 in 2.4's??..is that what that means lol=]

not bad times but id think the coupe 6mt would do a little better than that.... you guys should post when you go next, id like to make the ride up... its only bout 2.5 hrs from me and id love to run a 1/4 mile since all we have here is the 1/8th... what was your time in the 1/8ths and what were you trapping.... my best 1/8th is 8.8 but mostly get 8.9 and 9.0 and my best trap is 82 but mostly get 80.5-80.9.... maybe when it warms up a bit youd get better traction...

my best 60' is 2.001 on streets but mostly get 2.1 and 2.2's

LOL I think half my run's would've been in the 13's if I had those 60' times.

 

kool... i just got new street tires and going to track this sunday..ive never been with new tires, always had tires down to wear bars atleast... maybe i can break 8.8 and get a sub 2 60'... i really want a sub 2 60'
