My Track Night

So last minute my gf's brother insisted on me bringing my G to NE Dragway last night for Wednesday Night Street Night. Ben0878 and a couple of friends went along. I've been to the track a few times but this was the 1st time with the G. I went with full interior, rims, system etc (all the added weight to the car) and did okay. The weather was about 60 degrees. My cars number on the slips is 215. On my 8:27pm run I ran against my GF's brothers S2k and on my 9:36pm run I ran up against a modified Corvette (he ran the 1/4 mile in 12.287@110.20mph and me 15.330@92.68mph). So what do you think?

^Yeah I know but keep in mind I had full interior, 2 12' subs with custom enclosure and on both of these runs I didnt pick up traction right off the start. In one case I was spinning tires for a good second and a half.

Those times are pretty slow, especially for good weather conditions. Most of your problem lies in the 60 foots. Mid 2.5 to 2.6 60 foots are absolutely dismal. Seriously, someone on foot could cover that ground quicker Next time, don't get so greedy with the throttle coming off the line. Your car should easily be in the mid 2.2 60 foot range. That alone will shed about .5 seconds from your ET and put you in the 14.8s and you'll probably gain 1 to 1.5 mph as well because of how much tire spin you were getting. From there on out, it's just practice.

yeah those are some slow 60's and reaction times, you can def shave off around .5 with better launches

does you track have a weighting scale? You could've at least weighted your car. 60' is a little high and also your trap is low but that could be because of your weight, shifting and wheels/tires.
