If a strictly 2-door car (vettes, stangs, miata) comes with only a hard top then it's a coupe. If the same two door can also come as a convertible then it is referred to as a "vert" even though it is still a coupe.......coupes are hardtops, the same car w/ a vert is not referred to as a coupe....at least that how I was schooled by my fellow mustang guys.

I dunno what kinda slow azz old people drivin' Vettes you have around you, but there are some around here that like to pick on Mustangs, like my buddy's red FRC Vette lol.

Turn the volume up for some aural pleasure.

True, but at the end of the day, you are still driving a civic and the other guy is in a new GT500. To me, i'd rather have a GT500 than a 1000HP civic that handles on rails.

There is a lot more to a car than how fast it is.

But at the end of the day the point in this arguement was how fast the cars could go on how little....even a cobra with just a few grand in mods will blow the doors off a vette

And to toss a monkey wrench into this....

The 80's fox coupes...are sometimes referred to as "sedans".

Sedan is a very confusing term because it could apply to a 2 door as well

Of course there's fast vette drivers, what I'm referring to is a well known stereotype/jab about vettes and old guys that has been around for decades. I didn't make up and if you've never heard that one before you must be new to american car culture. True or not, I'm just feeding the rivalry....

Anyway comparing mustang/vette isn't really even a matchup if you look at the stats, it's more like mustangs/camaro. Mustangs taking on vettes is more like vettes taking on GT's, above the camaro/mustang there really isn't a head to head matchup for these two if you go by OEM.....

Yeah it is actually known as the fastest Cadillac on the planet, he also has a twin turbo vette that puts down about a thousand at the wheels with methanol injection. As well as a F250 that makes about 450hp and like 700tq. Hes a speed demon. His hyabusa makes more horsepower off the bottle then my car.

What year. I don't really WANT a Mustang, but if you're giving it away, I'm all in.

By down the drain, do you mean the only American car company NOT to ask for any extra help after the bailout terms were reached, or do you mean the only American car company that can survive well into 2011 at its current rate? ORRRRRR do you mean going down the drain by producing 5+ NEW model designs due to release this summer and fall? Or, do you mean down the drain as in they have beat both Honda and Toyota in resale value, reliability, and initial quality since 2005? Or down the drain like they're producing at LEAST 2 BRAND NEW MOTORS (one will be the supercharged V6 going into the MKS and MKT<<<<----new model)Which one do you mean. I know different people use "down the drain" differently. OOOOOOORRRRR are you just assuming that they're going "down the drain" because they're American? Or, do you mean down the drain as in their owners don't seem to be able to read.
