03 G35 coupe 6spd 14.379 97.22mph

Hey guys i went to lebanon valley in ny. My first time ever at the strip the best time i put down was a 14.379 at 97.22mph and my 60 foot was 2.174. I really wanted to get into the high 13's. Is that too much to expect. Next im gunna get a custom tune and get some dr's. I took the spare tire out, my subs, and the jack. Im pushing 253 to the wheels on a superflow dyno, what do u guys think? It was alot of fun but now im determined to get in the 13s.

You had a decent 60ft. Not sure what the elevation of your track is, but yes, 03 NA 6spds can get into 13's on a good track.

Also i have 19's one piece rims on, and how the altitude in ny compared to other places is it on the better or worst side for power?

Not sure. Maybe worse because I don't think I have seen some of the lower times come out of NY area, but I could be wrong.

Are those OEM 19's or something else? You might want to put your OEM rims on for the track.

Yeah, they are taking power away from you for sure.

A post on that very topic:
