well I don't know, but with that "loss" he made 270whp in a 5AT. Wish I could at least have 240whp

I don't think that is the case.

"whp" varies. Every dyno is different. Your car could hit 235whp today on dyno "A", and 263whp tomorrow on dyno "B". Temp., altitude, humidity....

I have JWT S1 cams and I used to run both kinetix v+ and 5/16 spacer you just need to add something to the center post to take up the extra space.

Did I gain anything don't know I never dynoed it. I think if I had a bigger TB maybe for sure.

Well as far as dynos I've went to 3 different dynojets in different weather conditions with my current setup between the 3 my numbers were 270-275hp a 1-5hp difference between 3 different DJ is consistent.

My 298 actually now 307hp on race gas is dynodynamics converted to DJ numbers. So the percentage may be off, but it's calibrated to the DJ next to Hills.

I might test it one day to see how close the numbers actually are.

Next and final N/A mod P&P 09 Maxima TB to go with my bigger plenum. Will be installed and track tested hopefully in 2wks depending on the weather.

Are those cams drop in or do they need springs and retainers?

S1 and S2 cams do not require new springs unless you plan to rev higher than 7100.

and if you want to rev higher than 7100, do you need certain aftermarket ones or can it be rev up or HR ones, they are made to rev beyond 7100 right?
