Powerhouse: Gates open at 8:00am, and racing begins at 9:00am. They wrap it up around 3pm.

If anyone wants to caravan, we can meet downtown at the Rock and Roll McDonalds, 600 n. Clark st. (map here: http://maps.yahoo.com/maps_result?ad...w=1&name=&qty=)

I'll be there at around 7:30, leaving around 7:45 or so.

Here's a map of the dragstrip: http://yp.yahoo.com/py/ypMap.py?Pyt=...r:regT:1:fbT:0

If there is a rain out, the rain date is November 20.

We can also invade Dave and Busters downtown, at Clark and Oak street.

Third rain-out option is Chicago Indoor Racing. www.chicagoindoorracing.com

They don't open until 3pm, but it is a BLAST too.

Forecast for Morroco, IN is 57 with scattered showers. The thing is that will these showers scatter between 9 and 3? Actually, Saturday would be a perfect day at partly cloudy with a drag strip ideal 60 degrees!

On my way from Toronto Canada. Had to replace blower belt today as it was cracked in many places. Will call you saturday night on your cell when I get there. Car is running great. Never raced a turbo yet, know they are faster but it will be interesting to see how much quicker he his than me. Looking forward to meeting all you guys.
Do you have a reserved area where you meet at the track?

I'm glad you can make it. We usually set up close to the grandstand; look for a blue E-Z-Up.

I made it. I did a 14.1 @ 99.6 with a 2.1xx 60' (no power shifting). As you can see, I'm limited by traction and I felt the car had more in it. My best before the flywheel, plenum, and camber rods was 14.4 at 98 mph. As a comparision, I did a run with my 125 lb girlfriend in the passenger seat and ran 14.4 @ 96 mph. Weather was almost the same at 55 degrees in both situations. If traction is good, next time I'll power shift and dip into the 13s.
