New best in my 03 sedan 5AT w/Z-pipe
Today the conditions were great for racing and the track was hooking perfectly, even in the cold air. Temps were in the mid 40s, baro pressure at 30.20, humidity at 50%, and altitude at 1000'. The calculated density altitude for conditions was right around sea level. Since I've raced my car in May, I've done absolutely nothing to it. The only performance mod to my 03 sedan 5AT is a Z-pipe and the Power Duct cover removed. I had a 1/4 tank of gas and the spare removed. My previous best was a 14.49@97.59mph with a 2.21 60' in upper 60 degree weather (2100'+ DA).
Today my new best:
60' 2.156
330' 6.068
1/8 ET 9.264
1/8 MPH 76.80
1000' 12.012
1/4 ET 14.320
1/4 MPH 97.73
I also ran a 14.38@97.78mph, 14.42@98.01mph, 14.41@98.00, and a 14.41@97.21mph. Talk about one consistent car. I really wanted that 14.2, but it just wasn't going to happen. I hit a wall with the 14.3s. As you can see, conditions make all the difference.
Now it's time to add some power mods

Thanks guys. I'm pretty excited about the ET/MPHs too
I started thinking about it and I bet I would have been fractionally quicker if I didn't have Coupe springs on the back and Z springs in the front. The last time I ran, I didn't have this setup. How could this potentially make me slower you ask? The excessive camber, especially in the rear. I'd bet there is some additional drag with increased front and rear camber. Oh well, no biggie. I love the lowered look and increased handling.

DaveB...Nice Job man! Getting Closer! I saw something about you coming over to east coast too which will help even more!
I am looking for a used 04 Coupe...my lease is over soon...I am hoping it will move out as good as my Sedan...I have driven 3 so far and every time I get back into my little old 4 door I lol at how much faster it is.
