I don't get some of these people in here.... What do you call a close race??? If you are beating a car by a car length and a half and that RSX is all modded and you are stock then I call that bad....

i raced my buddy's rsx when i had my turbo prelude... i was putting down about 260whp on about 6lbs... he was just all bolt ons (i/h/e/p cams, im) and tuned on hondata and that was a close race, k20 motors are no joke so dont take them lightly

yeah... seriously i love these VQ motors, but the k20s are monsters. I speak from personal experience, both daily driving and a REGULAR at Infineon Raceway (Sonoma, California).

What do you speak on mr. "2FastG354U"?

As for stock for stock, a G35 will win NO DOUBT.
But a RSX w/ bolt ons and Hondata... now that is SERIOUSLY a different race. It sure would be damn close. Two different cars, G35 has the torque while the RSX has the top end hp.

Don't knock the K-Series... those motors are bad-@ss. Unluckily, that's one of the few things I really like about those cars... as "slow" as they seem to you guys, my EP would still take alot of cars in the turns... maybe some Gs in the straights...

Also keep in mind that those motors respond very well to simple bolt-on mods... i/h/e on a G might make what, 2hp to the wheels? On a K-Series motor those mods will add about a good 15hp, if not more. And those are just the simple stock mods...

If you only get 2rwhp from intake, headers, AND exhaust, then something is big-time wrong.

my friend has an EP also, pretty slow IMO, he has bolt ons and he even takes out a few typeS's.

Um... not all brands by any means, but strup, dc, and crawford will each give you 10 minimum. If you don't believe me, do a little research. There's a guy over on my350z, named thawk408, that's pushing over 280 rwhp, as measured on the same dynojet that Doug Stewart uses.

So please feel free to deny, or argue, or whatever.

The K-series engine is no joke. Many people over @ ClubRSX are making around 210-230WHP with I/H/E, cams, and intake manifold. Which is similar to a G making 270-300WHP in respect to HP/LB. 800 LB makes a huge difference.
