Street racing video should never be used as a proof that one car is faster than another. There are way too many variable in those video. I can create a video where a camry beat a G, does that mean a G is slower?

The fact is getting around 240WHP in a N/A RSX very doable without even increasing displacement. That whould be similar to a G getting around 310WHP. I drive a G too, but that doesn't mean I think it's the best car/fastest car on the road.

 

very well said asianautica. i honestly agree. like i said many times before, i used to own a modded rsx-s. and until u sit in one and feel the high end power of that car you would never understand. Yeah i loved my RSX before. but if i have to pick between a RSX and a G, i would hands down keep my G.

I dont understand what mr. 2 fast 2 furious has against the RSX. We all know the G is faster stock for stock, but is it really that hard to believe a RSX (esp. w/ hondata ecu and bolt-ons).would beat a G.

 

It doesn't even seem like you guys are even arguing about the same topic. I think what everybody is arguing about is a Type S only needs to be lightly modded to beat a stock g35 coupe which is correct. While 2fastg354u is arguing that the g35 is ultimately the faster car whether its stock vs stock or both cars being heavily modded. Which he is correct in. So i guess everyone is right. Everyone wins.

 

to me, that race 2FastG354U put up was pretty damn close, too close. I never thought it would be maybe bad driver, maybe heavily modded rsx vs. stock G??

I have yet to lose to any RSX type S, type Q, Type R, bring any letter of the alphabet. I have raced an RSX w/ a exhaust and intake and I still spanked him....RSX is a dirty car IMHO. long live the old intergra's and preludes, RSX's back seems to be chopped off and short. If I am not mistaken the RSX is shorter than the integra. Blah watever, any POS car can be faster than another....fact is we got a decent entry level luxury sports car. The RSX is in a diff. class, a boy racer sports car like the GTI or Civic SI or something....

I by no means think the G is the chit...but which car would you rather drive??

Oh, and that G in the video wasnt stock...he had clear corners (=10rwhp)

Why are some of you idiots in here thinking I am saying the G is the fastest thing out there??? I said its faster then a RSX, and that video is no camera trick its just proof.... The RSX was modded for sure and the G35 was bone stock except for his exterior mods... The G35 coupe owns RSX's!!!!
