shifting to neutral rough idle

ok i started to notice this during M. day weekend that my idle drops kinda low after i shift into neutral while rolling.. my idle would drop and then go back to 700rpm... it would go as low as 500rpm.. can anyone else tell me if their idle drops that low..? could it be because of my carputer taking up too much of the battery? my friend suggested getting a stronger alternator but i dont even know where to start for that... any input would be greatly appreciated..
did more testing this afternoon, if i gun it hard the idle will go back to 700 no problem but if im slowing down and i depress the clutch the needle would drop faster then hit around 500-600rpm before catching and climbing back up to 700-750rpm.. any suggestions!?

p.s. i havent stalled from the dip yet but i assume anything under 500 rpm would make the car stall out

I believe this to be normal since the car is still moving, the engine all but idling, and air is pushing into the intake and fooling the Mass Airflow Sensor.
Some with aftermarket intake mods (more than just the Z-tube), have had a stalling issue after shifting to neutral at speed.
