Does my G have an LSD?

I have an 03' with the brembo package. Do I have an LSD? IF not, did any of the 350Z's come with an LSD? I would like to be able to put the car sideways now and then but the one wheel peel is killing me.

All '03 and '04 coupe 6MT's included Brembo brakes AND the viscous limited-slip differential.

All '03 and '04 coupe 5AT's came without Brembo brakes, and MAY have the VLSD. The VLSD was included only with the 18" performance tire and wheel package.

So, if you have an '03 with Brembos (unless they were added later to a 5AT) you have a VLSD.

Hmmm... I don't have a source right now -- my '04 coupe brochure only says "limited-slip rear differential" -- but I'm about 99% sure it's a VLSD.

EDIT: A quick search for "VLSD" seems to confirm this conclusion.

Damn, that VLSD really sucks. I wonder if you can put thicker fluid in it or something.

It's not a great system but doesn't sound like yours is operating quite right. It doesn't eliminate one wheel from spinning first but after some slippage the other wheel should also be getting power. I find my right wheel spins easier but the other one does work too after initial slippage.

The LSD is not very aggressive and can be changed to a more agressive one like the Nismo 1.5 way or 2 way. Quite expansive tho.

The 03 sedan auto or 6mt did not come with it. I'm just adding to the list.
