another clutch question

I thought there may be something wrong with my clutch because it felt softer after a bad launch, but I did the test where u put it in 5th at 40mph and floor it, and there was no slippage at all. Are there any other 6mt owners here that just have a really soft clutch that also engages really high?

When you floored it, did you immediately drop the clutch, or did it rev down before you clutched-out?

I've never driven anything but on 05, but my engagemnt was always near the top of the pedal travel.

Not sure I understand what you are asking. I was cruising at 40 in 5th and just hit the gas all the way.

Do this test. Get on the interstate and cruise at around 80(3k rpms). Clutch in, and while the clutch is depressed, floor it to redline. Then just drop the clutch. If the car jerks and the rpms immediately fall back to 3k rpms, then the clutch is fine. If it slips, then you've got problems.
