3.91 Gear ????

I went through enough searches and I can't find anything on the gears offered by 350EVO/Z1 Performance and drag racing.

I have no doubt the gears would hold up to daily driving. How about repeated drag strip launches and powershifts? How about autocrossing or road racing? Can they handle the stress.....

I am going to assume that the resounding silence to this post is because no one has actually raced a car more than once with these gears, OR, no one really knows....

I did just add 3% tint to my windows and blacked out my taillights though....

I think the consensus is that the gears are fine... ...just as fine as the OEM ratio. It's really the half-shafts that are going to take a dump first, given enough power and a strong desire for traction upon launch.

You should be fine for autoX, etc. This is obviously dependant upon your HP/TQ goals.

You're cruise-control won't work effectively after the swap. Details can be found by searching with a narrow criteria.

I'm not going to be doing 6k launches daily, it just concerns me when something is half the price of Nissan parts.

240sx and 300zx Nismo FD's range between $400-550 in price. The Nissan 3.7 is $431 from Performance Nissan. Only the Nismo 3.917 is over $1000 and that's probably due to markup for the demand.
