Hey Guys - Need your help

After installing the T/Cs in our cars, Dave and I need your help on esablishing some baseline numbers.

Would guys please tell us what your rpm is at 60, 70, and 80mph (cruise controlled) on a flat road. I would really appreciate it.

If possible, can you please do it on 4th and 5th gears. Thanks so much for your help.

Gurgen

Re: Hey Guys - Need your help

I have a 2003.5 Coupe 6MT. I don't know if that's what you were looking for or not but here are the numbers I have.

Speed | Cruise in 4th | Cruise in 5th
---------------------------------------------------------
50 mph | 2900 rpm | 2200 rpm
---------------------------------------------------------
60 mph | 3500 rpm | 2700 rpm
---------------------------------------------------------
70 mph | 4200 rpm | 3200 rpm
---------------------------------------------------------
80 mph | 4900 rpm | 3700 rpm
---------------------------------------------------------

Hope these figures help you for what you needed. Have a good one!

Re: Hey Guys - Need your help

Hey Guys,

We need the numbers from a few AT Sedans with stock tires in near new condition. This will help us evaluate the new torque converter's efficiency.

Thanks for the 6-speed numbers. Unfortunately your transmission and rear end gear ratios are different than our auto trans ratios.

Thanks,

DaveO
