6mt drivers *clutch burn*

sounds like ur clutch did not engage all the way when u smashed the throttle, evethough u had ur foot off the pedal. That happened to my friend once when he was racing my car at the drag strip. But 1st to 2nd shift and a clutch smell is not good, either u are burning the clutch while shifting or its time for a new clutch. The only thing that u should smell when u launch is a tire smell not clutch.

that was the 3rd time i burnt the clutch
it doesn't burn when i drive normally

I'm familiar with the 'clutch stuck to the floor' problem - it's a problem well known with the 6MT. Given that, why do it?

A driver error would be that u purposely feathering the clutch to get a better 60 ft time. Which did not happen.

i like to know the limits of the car.
it's like working out.
i might not have to beat some *** one day but it would be nice to know that i can.

Looks like you're well on your way to finding the limitations of your clutch.
In my experience, working out and being able to beat someone's a$$ aren't necessarily related.

). One is related to organized legal activity, the other to showing your a$$.You know well enough which side of that conversation I'd fall out on.

i guess "being fit" would be more appropriate
