6mt drivers *clutch burn*

i have a 06 6mt coupe

couple nights ago i did a really bad launch. i turned the vdc off rev'd to 3k let go the clutch to the point where the car started to move and mashed the gas. as soon as i mashed the gas, it rev'd all the way to 7k and the car didnt move. i was down the block from my house and smelled the burnt aroma all the way down the street to when i parked in the garage. it was the second time i burnt my clutch.

this morning about 10 minutes ago, i was driving home and decided to do a

no launch 1st --> 2nd --> clutch drop to get that tire chirp *vdc on*
after the shift and the tire chirp i was driving home and the normal tranny chattering became louder than normal. when i parked i got the clutch burn smell again and the tranny chattering sound became normal again.

i've done the 1st to 2nd clutch drop on a couple occasions where there was no clutch burn smell. i'm still engaging into all my gears ok and only have almost 8500 miles. i normally drive at moderate speeds and don't abuse the car on a daily basis. i maybe take it to 7k once every 2 weeks or so for driving pleasure. any ideas what's going on? is it maybe driver error? because i haven't slept in 24 hours now.

also another thing, just wondering if you guys experience tanny chatter getting louder after a long drive than when you first started driving?

any ideas or sugguestions would be helpful thanks

man im going to sleep

***any1 switched to motul tranny oil? any improvements to the shifting or the 2nd gear clunk?

thanks again guys
clutch burn ftl

Nothing to worry about..
It seems like you didn't do any damage to the transmission.
The worst thing that could happen to you is replacing your clutch soon..

any burning going on

maybe change the approach?

The 6mt clutches are funky after taking a little bit of abuse. But you didn't do much harm to the tranny, maybe your clutch, which may need to be replaced soon if you keep abusing it....lol

Continue driving like that and you'll be left without a clutch in no time.

i thought only grinding damages the tranny (dog teeth)

any abuse would go to the clutch wouldnt it?

some of you guys should really read my entire thread before posting, i said that i don't abuse the car on a daily basis.

and i wasn't talking about why my clutch burned on the bad launch, it's obvious why it burned. i was asking about the clutch burn on the 2nd gear clutch drop. there was no smell the other times i did it and i used to do it to my friends rsx type s and it was fine.

i don't know why but the tranny makes me wanna hurt it
it seems like it's crap compared to other cars i've driven

i mean sometimes everything would be smooth and then sometimes it would be crappy as hell
