I'll have fingers crossed for you cloud--So when everything is set you can give me some advice/suggestions/avoidance of pitfalls on installation and break-in procedure .

If the 1st gear shudder gets fixed, overall is the setup just as streetable as the nismo setup you previously had (streetable enough even in traffic), or is that much more agressive all the time?

It as streetable if not better than the nismo if not for the first gear shudder.
You don't get the leg workout the nismo gives you.

It's been a little cooler here in dallas lately and I've had the same problems when my car is cold. It's very hard to shift back into first gear. The other morning I was leaving starbucks and I couldn't even get reverse to engage so I had to just let gravity roll me out of my parking spot. I was not too amused. I've taken it to Infiniti before and as usual, they're not able to reproduce the issue. I suspected that a manual trans fluid change would help so I drained the old stuff a few weeks ago and put in Amsoil Synthetic Manual transmission fluid. When the car is warm, shifting is buttery smooth in all gears but it seems to be "cranky" when it's cold and is someone reluctant to shift into first, sometimes second and reverse. Overall, I'm not too happy with the 6mt tranny for those reasons. I feel that I'm wasting my time with Infiniti and it's a lease anyway that gets turned back in in 13 months so I'd rather not screw with it.

Anymore ideas?
2007 bump, particularly for this post. Anyone determine the cause of this?

What could be wrong? The clutch line has been bled.
this happened after putting in a new clutch btw
Ive got a stock clutch and tranny and am having the same problem, i think the problem isnt in the clutch but the tansmission. I'm gonna try and flush the transmission and see if the gears lock in better. If a stock clutch and aftermarket clutch have the same problem im thinking its not in the clutch but transmission.

Any updates on this? I have a stock clutch, and this started happening recently. Feels like I'm hitting a wall when I try to get it into 1st or reverse at a complete stop. Its actually easier to get into 1st at a slow roll. This issue is really starting to get annoying.
