Need help with stupid stuff

Hey I had a shop do my front right wheel bearing in my 05 X a while ago, they also did the CV axle while they were in there for suspected noise, even though it did nothing... The owner said they had to do a bit of work to get the CV axel out and it seems like they did a lot to get it back in. I have tried everything to get my CV axel to slide out of the hub, like it did when I replaced my front left bearing a few weeks ago. I made a rig to clamp a **** load of pressure onto the axle nut, and hammered... but still nothing.
I'm just going to pull the whole shaft out of the differential and work on it off of the car.
BUT I can't get the steering linkage bushing to give way, the method where you loosen the nut, and tap with a socket extension isn't doing crap...
MY QUESTIONS:
Anyone ever had luck with an autozone rental universal puller to pop the steering linkage out? Last time a hammer worked, this time no. I don't want to ruin the threaded bolt that runs through...
And: has anyone ever heard of such a ridiculous thing like my CV shaft being stuck in the hub/ bearing? I'm wondering WTF they did at this shop because usually its like butter in and out. It's drenched in PB blaster for the night until I get some more time and some replies from you guys.
I'm assuming I messed up and hit a bump, being lowered the bearing would take the brunt of it after the suspension ran out of travel. But what else can cause such premature bearing failure? yes it was replaced with OEM so they say!!!
oh one more thing, my bearing is so bad my wheel visibly jiggles around if I jack the car up, no way I'm driving on this any more. I need a sure fire way to get this axel out!
Morning 3/28 Edit: three tooth 5 ton axle puller did nothing.
Tie rod end still stuck on, I will be buying a small puller for this because I can't break the taper loose. Blow torch?
