Last week, at my shop we dropped the tranny for some guy to swap the clutch and flywheel. Afterwards, we put it all back together and the car wouldnt start...

cant figure out what it is.. we did disconnect the battery for a couple hours but i still dont get it..

car cranks but will not start.. we checked all the connections.. first we thought it might need a reset.. i did the reset a million times and it still would start.. then we thought it might be the immobilizer but the security light doesnt even stay on..

has anyone ran into the problem? i read the whole service manual.. and cant find anything on this..

i want to take it to infiniti but not really.. money ^^^


car is a 2005 g35 coupe 6mt

 

someone here had a problem i read of. something with not aligning the clutch or the flywheel.

 

Had the same exact problem, I guess the mechanic said a ring on the Flywheel was bent causing it to not register correctly on the sensor, they replaced the Flywheel and worked fine after that.

yea.. im gonna have my mechanic drop the tranny again and check that.. thats weird.. hell of a time to figure something like that out for u... cudnt have imagined the wait..

but does that cause it to need reprograming?.. does taking out the battery for a couple hours (4-6) lead the car to need all kinds of key fob reprograming..

car cranks.. but does not start.. you think this is flywheel/clutch related??..
