Recomendations Please

Okay guys/gals, my modificationitis is flaring up again and this time it is bad . I am now getting ready for some real heavy duty mods and the first thing I would like to do is upgrade my clutch. My OEM clutch is perfectly fine but latley I've had the urge to get on it a bit (like I did yesterday fooling around with a Corvette). So my question is what clutch/flywheel combo do you use or recomend? Why? And what do you think makes it so different or a step above the rest? So far I've looked into Clutchmasters, Exedy and Fidanza. I do drive my G hard on occasion but not more than once or twice out of the month. Opinions and suggestions are welcome and greatly appreciated. Thanks and happy modding

I had Clutchmasters on previous car. I think it was Stage 1. Very smooth and stock feel. No chatter or noise. Good bang for a buck too.

^Thanks. Did you notice any improvement in acceleration? Was the previous car a G? I've had all aftermarket on all of my other modded cars as well.

I have a lust for jdm parts, so I bought both a ORC super single 409 w/ all options, and a OS Giken STR--twin clutch. I installed the STR and am very happy w/ it! The noise is bearable and the acceleration greatly improved. Plus it holds like a champ and has near stock pedal feel. It's sintered bronze--so it takes some practice to get going from a rolling start--but after break in and practice--it drives like butter and the D-Wolf adjustment kit made it a lot easier.

It was on Mazda Protege5. It was installed together with flywheel and at fairly low mileage, so I cannnot say thet there was increase in acceleration attributable solely to clutch.
If stock clutch is not slipping and you have only bolt ons, you will not see any difference in acc.

JWT Clutch & Flywheel Combo is good.. Never had it on my car but drove a friends car with it on for a few days and loved it.. not much noise (but there is a little noise) however it grabs harder then the stock and feels the same
