Nismo Pilot Bearing discussion...

I am about to have a JWT clutch and flywheel installed in my G35. I ordered the Nismo Pilot bearing to be installed also. I was wondering if anyone has experience with the Nismo bearing. Is there any significant advantage having this roller bearing vs. the factory one piece part?

I have one but didn't install it when I replaced my clutch and flwheel. A tech told me the stock one will long outlast the clutch and flywheel

you should change the CrankShaft Pilot Bushing when ever you change your flywheel out...

Its a 5$ part... no reason to not change it rather then do the $500+ in labor again...

As far as a NISMO ROLLER Bushing... Not sure what good it will do on the VQ... Most people just go with stock...

Well yeah, its def. getting changed. I just didnt know if I should use the pilot bushing that comes with the clutch kit or the Nismo one. Since it has moving parts, its obviously more likely to go bad. I just dont know I dont want to have to spend $400 to replace a $20 part by using the Nismo piece over factory...
