ok so my axle popped off the other day because we were tryin to install a toe rod or whatever it was, but i guess we pulled on the axle to turn a bolt and it popped off?? but my friend screwed it back on and everything was fine. Now i'm hearing this clicking noise a lot but only at low speeds. About 25mph and below i hear the noise and sometimes its repetitive a lot then sometimes its not. At first i thought it was my coilovers but its not. Any input??

 

lets go back and assume you weren't installing and tie rod to begin with....

The axle spline(s) can become degreased or lose the amount of optimal lubrication necessary. My 05 coupe had this issue and it resulted in ticking/popping noises at low accleration. I took it into the dealer and the said they have treated this issue a handful of times. They fixed it free of charge.

I have no idea about how your tie rod variable could play into this...
