Help car wont move!!!

Help car wont move!!!

Ok so heres the story out driving on the highway and im doing about 60 in 6th and a rsx wizzes past me and me being a dummy was like oh hell no!! so i downshift into 4th and floor it and i pass him awsome right nope cause now i cant shift into any gears... so im in neutral coasting to the next off ramp.. i find a place to pull over shut off the car wait a minute then crank her up well as im starting it the car is moving forward not fast but noticeable with the clutch pushed all the way in so i start moving but i cant go fast at all keep in mind i finally got it in first so i press the gas and its over reving like im driveing with the clutch pushed halfway in... the clutch felt extremley springy at the bottom it felt alot different than before the incedent... anyways i get it towed home and now there absolutly no grab from the clutch at all wont move...... damnit this **** urkes me... by the way my car only has 6500k on her this shouldnt happen right???? is the clutch burnt out or the clutch cable break anyone help plz!!! i hope my warrenty covers this!

the only thing wrong i see is that you didn't downshift into third, instead!

i dont think you have a burnt clutch...

take it to the dealer i think you will be coverd

plz more opinions plz if im gunna need a new clutch i want to order it asap i cant have downtime... theres no time for downtime ahhhhhh

We can't tell you...Sounds like a clutch problem but you can't just order the clutch. You need the mechanic to tell you if its the clutch then they will see if it was a defect or abuse. Sounds like a defect so they will loan you a car and order the part. Must of the time they should have a set...So downtime is a day or 2 at most...

if you only have 6500 miles on your car, you should not worry about anything.
Take it to Infiniti of Tacoma at Fife, See Alex and she'll take care of you.

Ask for 07 G3 Sedan as a loaner.

Those are fun.


+1 on down shifting to a 3rd
Have some respect for Acuras.

spoke with alex she was very helpful and very nice sounds like there going to cover any and all parts/expenses hopefully ill keep you all posted with whats going on with the car thanks again for the help

ok if you cant read or understand my post's dont reply... thanks. ok so found out what was wrong... sent my car to alex at infiniti of tacoma at fife and it was the clutch it was toast... not sure why it went so fast but i ordered a exedy twin plate clutch with the excedy lite weight flywheel it ran me 2050 installed. also ordered the b&m short shifter while i was at it. going to use redline for the fluids all around my car oil and everything..
