My car does the same noise aswell, I have not taken it to the dealer due to the fact that I live in South Tx and the nearest dealership is about 4 hrs away in San Antonio. Is this rattle normal, your help would be greatly appreciated thanks!

Just push the clutch in when you turn it off. Alot of MT's do this rattle noise, not just G's and Z's. Its normal.

Well thanks guys for your help and I dont mind the rattle at all because its not really loud. I was just worried because I read FROGS post and he said he took his car to the dealer and they said his tranny was bad.

Yeah me too! Anyways I started hearing a squeaking noise coming from the clutch as I disengage the clutch on 1st and reverse now and the pedal feels a little funny as well.

I did a search on this forum and I also searched it on infintyhelp.com
It could possibly be the throwout bearing, I sheduled an appointment for the 23 and I plan on driving about 4 hrs to San Antonio, Tx my closest dealership hopefully I can get this problem taken care of since I'm still under warranty.

One thing i still don't get is, say im in 4th gear right, and i want to downshift into 3rd and need that extra little push. So lets see if this is right, I CLUTCH in, at the sametime, shifting into 3rd, while the CLUTCH is in give it a tap to rev match, and finally finished by CLUTCHING out and giving it more gas.

So the CLUTCH won't burn out or go bad if, i have the CLUTCH in while giving it gas to rev match? Cuz when i do this is smooth as butter, but i don't if that's what i'm suppose to do or if it wastes the clutch faster?
