My cruise control sometime will not engage when I press on. Its simply just won't lite up in the dash. But it'll somehow back to work again in a couple start up during the day. Anyone experience this? Is this a known issue ?

Never experienced or even heard of that one.

Will it not set a cruise speed, or are you saying you can't even turn the system on?

Might want to call your service advisor and schedule an appointment to have them check it out.

 

I simply just can not turn it on all day and just before I got my service appointment confirm late the same day. It started to work again.

Honestly, I haven't even used the cruise controll & I bought my car in Dec of 2002. Need to plan more road trips I guess.How often do you guys use your cruise controll? A member was working on making a relay switch for the shifter so you can shift with the cruise controll up & down

I believe it's programmed not to allow you to set a speed above 90. Not safe to use cruise when you're doing that, anyway. [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]

 

m500... i do remember reading a thread from a while ago about someone having cruise control problems. here, try this link. i had it saved in case my cruise control went on the fritz.

The only problem I have w/ cruise control is the crappy bulb they put in the dash. You can barely see it in the daytime. It works fine otherwise.
