is there a "j-mod" equivalent for our cars?

basically, one of the engineers who designed the AODE transmission (ford), let it be known that there were a few simple changes that would increase the performance of the transmission, and by doing so help it last longer (firmer, quicker shifts). all that was needed were a few drill bits and a spring or two, basically changing the flow rates and pressures on the various shifts. (even reverse, for those who wanted a quicker engagement in reverse)

i'm wondering if there's a similar mod for our automatics, i've mostly found valve body upgrades, which are a bit overkill.

i've heard that grounding wires helps the tranny alot, but i don't imagine it makes as much as physically changing the valving so as to engage quicker and firmer.

is there such a beast for our trannies?

thanks, eh?

I know the 4th gen Maximas had mods to achieve full line pressure in the AT's, but I don't think it's applicable to the G35s.
