Problems with Auto Tranny

A friend of mine has an auto jag s-type and it is doing something strange. When he presses down on the accelerator, it seems to skip kind of like a choking. He treats his car like a grandmother treats her cadillac. It's really strange never seen this in any vehicle i have owned. Also the EMS light is on. What the hell is it? Thanks for all the info and input.

MAF are sensitive to the solvent you use, some will be destroyed in a minute some will survive and change calibration, some will suffer little harm.

Blanket statements across different brands are best avoided unless you are expert on the model.
