Hey fellas I have had my 03 coupe for about 3 weeks now.Love it so far btw.

My ? is today I thought I saw the check AT dummy light flash but I cant be 100% positive. So I get home and check the tranny dipstick and its reading full , it doesnt smell burnt, but it is a real light color,very clean looking, almost like fresh motor oil right after a change. All the other tranny fluids I have dealt w/ in the past have been redish colored.

Is the Nissan oem tranny fluid red also or does my terrible description of my fluid sound about right?

BTW it is an 03 w/ 60k on the clock.

Yes, it is usually red, but who knows what stuff the previous owner put in there. The Nissan J-Matic stuff is red (like every other trans fluid).

 

if its not nissan j-matic fluid in the auto tranny, i hear it will go to hell.
