someone with clutch chatter and other trany proble
Re: someone with clutch chatter and other trany proble
I'm not worried about the clutch chatter, but worried about the rough shifting. I have an appointment to take the car in on Friday about the grinding like feeling when shifting. I'll let you know how it goes.

Re: someone with clutch chatter and other trany proble
I get a very rare grind shifting from 2nd to 3rd. I know I am disenaging the clutch completly and engaging after im in gear but I still get an occational grind. Is this a similar problem to what any of you are experiencing.

Sounds like the same issue as mine. Doesn't feel or sound good to me, so I'm getting it checked out.. I was going to just leave it and get used to it, but I can't sleep good at night thinking it's an issue.

Re: someone with clutch chatter and other trany proble
do you guys actually hear a grinding noise? or you just feel it on the shifter?, mine doesnt have that grinding feel or noise but just very notchy..hope it gets better after 4000 miles..
Re: someone with clutch chatter and other trany proble
Yep, I experienced it on my friend's 350Z. Supposedly it disappear after a 1000 miles. IIRC, it was grinding noise plus the feel of the shifter as it grinded. I think it was sort of discussed earlier
