i bought a 03 with 50k miles on it from a dealer with thier platinum extended warranty. only thing is the warranty is through ford motors and they are ******. ok so here is the deal 3rd gear grinds going in at high rpms (4k+) and down shifting around 50 it just feels like im not even using the clutch. took it to infiniti to find out that the clutch was completely warn through flywheel was turned to blue'd metal and pressure plate nearly burnt through. so they replaced all those free of cost. and said oh ok well the problem is fixed. i test drove it only to find out that its worse! it grinds even more now and 6th gear is grinding aswell anyone else expierence this problem and know what the solution is new transmission i suppose

 

What am I missing Infiniti power train warranty is 6 years [from 1st retail sale] or 70,000 miles.

 

wierd infiniti told me the warranty went out in december of last year ill have to ask them again thanks
