Anyone know how to install upgraded valve body?

Also made a post on my350z, but was wondering how hard it is to install the transgo valve body upgrade from GTM and what would make it difficult? Any help would be appreciated! thanks! hopefully there is a DIY somewhere that I missed while searching.

In my opinion I think this is something for a professional who knows what hes doing to install it, I don't think its easy, then again I don't know, I had GTM installed mine.

Its not a technically challenging job, but it is very messy, time consuming, and absolutely disgusting to try and do this on your back...without a lift.

I'd say take it to a shop, unless you are very mechanically inclined, and like to get messy..and make a big mess.

well I have not had much experience with trannies except changing clutch/flywheel etc but I have done a lot of internal engine work. I was hopign that I could try and do this on my own. i figure it would be a messy job but was wondering why it is so difficult to do. I will also check into local shop prices though.

I say go for it, if you got some money laying around where you can just say "ah screw it I messed up" and just pay a shop in the end I would try to tackle it myself. If I came on the forums and asked how hard it is to install twin tubos or if I should do it myself. I would have probably ended up taking it to a shop, instead I did it myself. Because I didnt care for anyones opinions. But dont get me wrong, sometimes its best to have a professional do it, just because of precision instruments required for the reinstallation of the parts.

I could do it for you. Ive done a couple of vb upgrades already.. My family own 2 tranny shops here in Louisiana. If youve never done it before, I suggest you not attempt to do it
