I wouldn't do this mod unless you go FI in my opinion. 250 bucs?? Thats nothing it goes for like 1200 bucs full full installed (Transgo kit on valve body, and valve body coming in/out of the car)

+1 ... I believe the passages in the VB are also modified in addition to adding the trans-go parts. and if the vb get fvcked up in the process, that mistake will cost someone over $1K to replace.

^^ I agree with both of them. I'm actually taking mine to my dealership as they are mod friendly with me and gave me a good deal on install.

You may want to check with your dealer if all else fails.

lol, and same type of acceleration too?

I just did that so people can see, though the vid does not show it too much, watching his video shift and knowing how your 5at shifts shows it well :P

I just put up a old video in the media share section. The speedo shot in the beginning is with the stillen VB.

I'll try to put up a new one this weekend if I have the time. I'll do it in D and MM with normal and hard driving.

I spoke with GTM motorsports, they quoted me a turn around time of 3-5 days if you ship them your valvebody and have them install it for you. Total price $285 for the transgoshift kit and $485-$500 in labor...$785 not including tax. OUCH!!! if im brave enough im just going to buy the kit and follow the DIY to install it. Pray for me!!! Ill take pictures and provide a thorough befor/after the install. CNJ
