2nd gen 6mt on 1st gen coupe?????

I was thinking , since the 2nd gen sedan and coupe transmission is so much more smoother and better. Can you swap the 2nd gen transmission onto 1st gen coupe or sedan ??? has any one tried this? I'm just concerned that the length of the transmission and the bolts wont align.

Probably not. I'm assuming your saying out a tranny from an HR engine onto a DE engine. Which it would be my guess they have different mounts to the engine.
