ill check to see if i have any. but all you ahve to do is pop the hood, stand on the pass side and look in the center, a few inches in front of the firewall. should be a cap with a 10mm bolt holding it down and it should say caution on it

Is that where you would pour the new fluid/refill it? See, this is why we need a DIY video.

im 98% sure thats where you pour it back in. if it makes you feel better, call the dealer and ask. but there is a drain plug to drain and then check/fill behind the engine

did the drain and fill and drove it so it went through the gears, checked it right after i got back so it was hot. it appears to be overfilled now. i put in just as much as drained out. anyone else have this happen

you, i could NEVER get a clear reading from that dipstick.

I measured how much came out and it's always 4.4 quarts..
i think others say 3.5qt.. maybe mine was "overfilled" from the factory?

Let it cool overnight and check when cold. Hot level is higher then cold level. Or does the stick have hot/cold levels? I don't know as mine doesn't have a stick!

ok, i think im just really dumb here. ive always checked trans fluid with the engine hot and idling in park. for some reason i was checking it hot with the engine off.

we are supposed to check it with the engine idling in park and hot correct?
