1st & 2nd Grinding

I had issues with 1st to 2nd gears. I put half a bottle of prolong engine treatment in and it was gone. Give it a couple of days. Don't want everyone to now go out and buy it ,but we just need another to verify findings. Found it cheaper at Pepboys, but here is the site if you want to check it out.

Ok, I'm confused. Did "Engine Treatment" fix transmission grinding? That doesn't make any sense.

All I know is this was the exact time it changed? Even at times going from 2nd to 1st was a struggle, which I hardly ever do,but not any more resitstance.

Re: 1st & 2nd Grinding

How can the Engine treatment works on Transmission? Mine 1st gear to 2nd gear does give me grinding as well and I guess that is normal. I went to Car Dealership to get it check and have it oil change for the maintanence. After a while, there was no more grinding gear. According to the manual book, it said that do not put any additives in the engine because it does not require any additives.
