So i just picked up my car from infiniti today in Annapolis. they replaced my transmission under warranty and installed the new southbend stage 3 clutch setup which i purchased from concept Z performance. they only charged me $50 dollars to install the clutch...great deal i thought? couple things i noticed

1. the car shifts great and has a much smoother engagement
2. the pedal has a bit more pressure
3. i kinda smell a buring smell when shifting at higher RMP's


The question i need answered is, how longs does it take a new clutch to wear in?

Wow... I hope my transmission goes out so I can get a cheap clutch install!

I would take it easy for 800-1,000 miles just to be on the safe side.

It being a stage 3 clutch is it a 6-puck disc or just a typical circle?

Awesome I ran a 6-puck on my old HS car - I loved it!

IIRC I let it break in for 1,000 miles (like I said above)

EDIT: From your link it doesn't look to be 6-puck
